If you have a choice between conventionally grown and organically grown food, organic food is hands-down the best choice. Organic is the best choice in terms of the environment, animal care, nutrient quality, and above all being free of pesticides and other harmful chemicals. Pesticides building up in the body have been linked to hormone disruption, ADHD and neurological disorders, as well as cancer.

The environmental working group (EWG) is a non-profit organization that specializes in research of toxic chemicals in foods and products. Different foods have varying amounts of pesticides in them and each year the EWG compiles a list of the types of produce with the greatest amount of pesticides in them (and this is after the produce has been thoroughly cleaned and ready for consumption).

Below is a list of the produce you should eat organic because these foods tend to have the greatest amounts of pesticides:
