Sarah-Kate is an ANCC Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in California and New York State with an expertise in preventative healthcare. She is also the co-founder of The Mindful Tech Lab with her husband, which creates and markets technology to better people’s lives.
Sarah-Kate earned an undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from California Polytechnic University before moving to New York City to earn a second undergraduate degree in Nursing from New York University. She then worked as a Registered Nurse in Manhattan alongside some of country's top physicians to provide both medical and aesthetic care.
After working as a Registered Nurse, Sarah-Kate obtained her graduate degree from Columbia University's Family Nurse Practitioner program. After graduating from Columbia and achieving board certification, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at a primary care private practice off of Wall Street in Manhattan. As a primary care provider, she managed the entire spectrum of acute and chronic diseases from arguably the most culturally diverse, high-pressured, and over-worked population in the country. This experience gave her a strong background and passion for preventative medicine and individualized health care.
Sarah-Kate has since relocated to the Los Angeles area and brings her experience from managing major health-related conditions from a fast-paced and culturally diverse patient population of New York City to her patients in Los Angeles. She continues to make it her priority to advocate prevention and to collaborate with patients to develop plans of care that are personalized to fit individual needs and lifestyle.
Sarah-Kate considers nutrition and exercise to be the basis of well-being and is a strong advocate for daily physical activity and maintaining a healthy diet. She follows her own advice by exercising daily and following a minimally processed food diet.
